Looking for a happier place to work?
What if you hopped onto job-hunting site CareerBliss to review the results of the annual 50 Happiest Companies In America report? Researchers sifted through thousands of company reviews submitted to the website between 2014 and 2015 to compile a wish list of factors that contribute to workplace happiness - including work-life balance and job resources. The results are clear: while compensation is considered as important, employee reviews pointed to relationships with co-workers and managers as well as a strong company culture as key elements of happiness in the workplace.
Topping this year’s list is Minnesota-based healthcare and insurance company UnitedHealthcare. Last year’s No. 1 ranked company, Johnson and Johnson stayed on the list but fell to 14th place.
